Divergent fan fic CH.5

                                          Will's P.O.V

    After the choosing ceremony the Dauntless are the first to leave. I walk behind Brenton out of the room, and we hug each other. I really thought you were going to go some place else. I think to say to him, but I hold it in. I find Four, and I hug him. Probably for more time than I should, because almost everyone's eyes are on us. I let go, because of the weird stares we got. The first thing we have to do is jump on the train. I never payed attention to how many faction transfers we got, but by the looks of some of them they aren't going to make it long. I jump onto the train with ease along with Four.

    When we get back to Dauntless headquarters all of the Dauntless born initiates go with Four into their bunks. By this time it is time to go to sleep, so I wait for all the Dauntless born initiates to go to sleep, and then I go to Fours room. I hesitate before going into his room, because I hear another voice from inside. It's Brenton. I place my ear on the door and hear Brenton say " You better not hurt him or so help me God I will kill you, and not think twice. He is my best friend, and you and I both like him, and I know I can't beat you for his love. All I have to tell you is watch your back." I walk in before Four has time to say anything. "I don't know who you think you are, but one things for sure you are not going to talk to Four. Let alone a Dauntless leader like that. If you were really my friend you wouldn't have came in here and said all of that shit, and so help me God if you just ruined our relationship I will kill you and not think twice." Brenton and Four's  mouths drop at this. They have never seen me talk like that before, so it surprised them. I see Brenton's eyes begin to water and I don't care. He shouldn't have said half of the stuff he did.

    Brenton walks out crying. I sit on Four's bed when he comes over and sits beside me. "I could have protected myself Will. You know that right?" I know he could handle things all by himself, but I couldn't stand someone saying they were going to hurt him. I love him, and nobody is going to get in the way of that. "I know that. I just get really protective over the people I love. I am sorry if you don't want me here I can go now." I really hope he wants me here. I want to spend a lot of time with him, because I might not make it through initiation. "NO! Will I want you here. I thought it was really brave of you to stand up for me like that. I love that about you-" I kiss him so he can't say another word. We kiss for what seems like five minutes, before I say I love you Four!

    Don't Call me Four anymore. Call me Tobias.
